Day 19.1: PITEgo

First Gate of Slumber now shut. Dreamscape shuddered and fractured. Still the Soul Conglomerate creature remains…

The party continues to attack and after a few good strikes, Him destroys the creature with a final massing strike, killing it and releasing the trapped dreamers within.

Moving back toward the Aunts room, the party decides it is time to confront the final part of Gregor’s mind – Super Ego. Charles finds a secret door that seems to be “locked”. It was only stuck a little. Gregor continues to prattle on, but fear has creeped into the edges of it. He knows the end is coming. We are coming.

The shifting sands once again move us to an oubliette, but only Mr. Charles is left. After discussions with Geist about how much time has passed outside in the real world (16 seconds), the party rests before the next battle. Turns out Mr. Charles and the others were fragments of what Gregory could have been, deeply suppressed and forgotten.

After a brief riddle (it was “E”asy) we enter a room and see Gregor at a piano surrounded by 3 ghostly shadow figures with white stone necklaces on them. Gregor transforms into a giant flaming fart head – at least he’s staying true to form – and calls for the shadows to attack (The white stones flaring and a groan escaping the figures). The battle commences. Gregory attacks Mutu/Him while I deal with Shadow #1, Diana/Him Shadow #2 and Charles adds some heat to Gregor and Shadow #3. Mutu performs and frightens Gregor. That’s what happens when a real performer shows up! IF worked as the Shadows faulter in their attacks and Charles manages to free Shadow #3 with Liberate Soul. The creature thanks us.

Two shadows left and one giant PITEgo left to deflate…
