The Henge of Frozen Echoes & Its Prisoner

Summary of Events (1/18/2026)

Ahhhh, the ARCTIC wastes most TERRIBLE!

Our heroes stood within the Henge of Frozen Echoes, ancient standing stones carved with ten thousand RUNES! And there, prowling the stone circle’s edge, NAVARIS awaited – a spirit bound by ancient magic, his gaunt form fading between solidity and shadow!

The creature spoke of PREVIOUS visitors! The dragon who always returned! The gnome with the monocle who stole knowledge and VANISHED! All seeking the lost city of Yig’yath! He thought our heroes came seeking VISIONS!

But no! They sought only PASSAGE! Mutu entertained the imprisoned horror with his LEGENDARY hip-shaking! Navaris watched with FASCINATION – finally, entertainment after centuries of isolation!

But then – HORROR! Frozen corpses rose from the ice! Previous petitioners who came seeking answers but NEVER left! Their jerky movements and frost-covered blades struck with deadly COLD! Fish Pan and Piglet – unfortunate adventurers now cursed to ETERNAL winter!

The battle was FIERCE! The frozen dead struck with critical precision! Kiren nearly fell beneath their icy blades! But Mutu’s blessed strikes SHATTERED frozen flesh! Diana and HIM unleashed coordinated fury! Charles hurled purifying icicles and shadow blasts! Kiren struck from INVISIBILITY!

The undead FELL, and Diana’s eidolon ferried their tortured souls to FINAL rest!

Among the remains, they discovered TREASURES! A Ring of the Frozen Pack – granting additional spell power but cursed to fuse with the wearer’s finger! Diana BROKE the compulsion curse, keeping only the beneficial fusion! A Cloak of the Frozen Pilgrim offering flight and cold resistance!

As REWARD for his entertainment, our heroes gifted Navaris the Chest of Riddles – an ancient puzzle box to occupy ETERNITY! The Wendigo was PLEASED! He pointed toward the Nameless Spires – thirty-two days distant by normal travel!

But Kiren possessed POWER! Her Umbral Journey spell would carry them through shadow roads – reducing the journey to merely FOUR days!

And as Navaris vanished into swirling snow with his puzzle box, our heroes prepared to rest within the protective circle before venturing into the frozen UNKNOWN!

The final confrontation with Dr. Ritalsin draws NEAR!
