Healing Mutu’s Mind with the Sacred Waters

Summary of Events (3/8/2026)

Ahhhh, VICTORY and healing!

The spirits fell before our heroes! Durst’s orcish RAGE dealt devastating blows – 138 points in a single strike! The winter orc cleaved through ethereal flesh, reducing spirits to ash! Kiren’s fay poison brought DEBILITATING weakness! The final spirit EXPLODED in death throes – but our heroes endured!

Then came the TRUE test – the SACRED ritual!

Each hero approached the ancient pool with reverence! Kiren knelt in VULNERABILITY – showing weakness to prove sinc erity! Charles offered HOLY prayer, beseeching the waters to save both Mutu and the world! Durst… attempted DECEPTION – his heart not truly invested – but the dice gods smiled! The water hesitated… rippled with uncertainty… then ACCEPTED his half-hearted offering!

The flask filled! The Aurora STEADIED overhead! The petroglyphs had been respected!
Back at Thorn’s basalt tower, TWICE the spirits circled – drawn to Mutu’s opened mind! But Thorn performed the HEALING ritual! Each hero played their part:

Charles at Mutu’s head provided SPIRITUAL WARMTH – the golden light of Sarenrae! Diana and HIM guarded the threshold between LIFE and DEATH! Kiren held Mutu’s hand, invoking Grandmother Spider to restore his DEFINED EDGES! Durst stood sentinel at the physical threshold – weapons drawn against ANY intrusion!

For two hours the ritual continued! Spirits rose and circled! Then… SUCCESS! The door CLOSED! Mutu’s mind sealed – healing now possible!

Thorn offered his hospitality – and Hodal the six-legged bear to accompany them! The third ring obelisk awaits – one more barrier before the NAMELESS SPIRES!
