Diana:Day 4
We arived in the city after that little escapade to meet with some doctor that my employer, the strange multispeak professor, works under. The Library was far larger than any building I had been in before all on its own, and the silence inside was tangible. Despite my slight unease, the meeting went well and I think I narrowed down the deal with that professor. I think they have some kind of vision of the future, as they constantly remarked on things that hadn’t hapened yet in the past tense.
Regardless, I got my pay for my assistance with the priests, and have fully decided to work with these people. Kiren is agreeable, but I think I’ll have to do some work on the other 2 to compensate for some ideological gaps. Either way if that doesn’t work and the robot tries to mess with my collection again, I’ll get to sit back and watch the god of tasteful art turn him into a stovetop again.
The conversation with the Doctor and the displacee gave us all access to some of some schools facilities and a line to look into at 5 later today. Looks like that archeology section will have to wait.
Just thinking about bones of beasts long past preserved well gives me an anticipation that I can’t quite put into words. Dizzying? Arousing’s not the right word either, I’ll have to think about it.
