Day 30

After the party returned to the good professor, a servant walked in. This servant advised that a member from the Telkis family was having an issue. Even though the man was healed, he did not have use of his faculties. The man from the Telkis family was named Emil. Kiren demanded that Emil be placed in a separate room from both Violeta and Andrea. The party suggested that they along with the doctor interview Emil. Emil had a face scarred by fire and blackened eye sockets. Emil rocked back and forth and muttered to himself, “The eyes, burn them. The eyes, burn them.” Kiren noted that gossamer flowed off of him in a chaotic way. He said multiple things including: “Eyes are everywhere.”, “Dreams were the currency. Win from the little girl.”, “Dreams went away on their own.”, “The game”. Mutu attempted to lay on hands and noticed that Emil’s hands have some type of markings on them that look like dice. The stains are under the skin and appear to be made up from the sand. There is a charge to them. Emil scheduled and managed the events of the Telkis family. “Eyes wanted to know the schedule” was another comment from Emil. Emil may have bet in the high roller room of Mortimer. He may have bet with someone that had black hair, ivory skin, and short height. (Is this the woman we played against before?). The party left to head back to the inn, they come across two women walking in the street. One of the women appeared to be ill. She had an aura and was walking oddly. Something swirled around her like a shimmering halo. While focused on the gossamer, something unsettling is behind her. Charles lashed out first at the creature which caused the women to panic and flee. The party continued to fight the creature with everyone hitting it while Charles landed the final blow. The party chased the women around the corner to find them being surrounded by some ruffians.
