The Toymaker’s Cursed Dolls

Summary of Events (2/12/2025):

Ahhhh, the toll tower! Where toys come alive and ghosts hunger for playmates!

The party ascended weathered stairs littered with abandoned playthings. Wildflowers bloomed and withered simultaneously in the cracks! Ghostly handprints spiraled through moss! The lullaby echoed: “Everyone leaves, I’m always alone…”

They found a marble shrine to Lisette Caromarc, beloved daughter. Against it sat an exquisite porcelain doll—with glass eyes that followed them. Black sand smeared from shrine to tower!

Shakoom warned: “That is a creation of the Toymaker! Stay away!”

Kong declared it should be destroyed!

The doll’s eyes flashed! Its mouth screamed! Black sand poured forth! “No! Don’t take her away! Everyone always takes everything!”

A Jack-in-the-box sprang from shadows wielding a war razor! Battle!

Kong summoned thorny vines! Nadja hurled insults that ignited enemies with fire! Shining Fist crushed and stomped! Throughout the fight, a ghostly girl kept appearing and vanishing, whispering incomprehensible words…

Victory!

Inside the tower: hundreds of dolls arranged in tea circles—all facing the door, all watching! Kong—ever paranoid—blasted everything! Black sand covered everything. Kong recognized it: “This stuff is from the Dreamlands! Tears in the Veil of Slumber!”

They descended to the flooded basement seeking the chain mechanism. There—hundreds more toys! The ghost girl appeared: “My friends want to play with you!”

The toys surged forward as a swarm! Kong’s thorns tore them! Shakoom ignited them! Shining Fist stomped them flat! The toys unleashed unnerving laughter that assaulted their minds!

Kong lined up the final three and obliterated them with one blast!

The ghost girl materialized, weeping: “You broke all my toys. Now I’m alone again. But I have playmates in the dark. Long as the chain is out of water, I will have more.”

She vanished.

They found the mechanism—chains connected to gears above! But the magical activation must be on the second floor!
